where to get minnows in Crowder

Like to tip the jig this time of year.

My usual stop S of council hill was out

That's where we get our minnows too -- really nice bunch of folks there. But one time I get really small ones and the next time they are big enough that I've thought about trying to fillet a few of them.

Yes, my only purchase this year was qtr lb of crappie minnows. I could have fileted two of them and several were pretty small, but still got more bites with them than I did tippingt jig with the berkely alive minnows. Just could not keep them stuck.
