5/24/14 Coffey County

Got in a few hours fishing between downpour. This time out the daughter caught the fish without any outside interference except me running the net. We caught boatloads of white bass, and I pulled a smallie and 12" crappie out of it too. Water temps on the south end were 74. Big change from the 64 from last weekend. The shocker for me was we tried drifting and couldn't catch a walleye or catfish. I'll take what we got though. We had schools of white bass chasing lures.

Sweet. How old is your kid? My boy is 4 now but he's no where close to ready to fish on his own.

Also. What fish finder is that?

She will be 4 in July. The fishfinders is a Lowrance hds touch 7
