Red bridge ramp is loooong and steeeep it really needs a chair lift.I know of some guy's who won't launch there anymore. The lakes not that big you can launch at frances slocum . S.R.A or up river and not spend that much more in fuel.Bozart or peace pipe is the only bait around I know of.J

Meatman, you should do very well tomorrow you will just have to deal with a bunch of boat traffic due to the holiday weekend. I fished over there last evening from shore and the fish have moved backed in. The high water scattered them in my spots last week but the water is back down now and in really good shape. I was fishing up near the dam area. Caught fish on a bobber and twister, minnows, as well as a jig just being casted and slowly retrieved. Started getting into some nice females before we left. 11-12 inch fish. Headed back over this evening. As far as bait, i go to the one in peru on benton street. I fish with the guys who run the place time to time, they will get ya what ya need. I would avoid the one by the dam, (woodys). It is closer to red bridge but if you want minnies you may get ripped off. I made the mistake of stopping there last night and the girl working in there hand counted my minnows. Not the first time it's happened there either.

I was there last night also with my daughter, water temp was 65*; we did pretty well, not every cast but steady. Males have their "tux" on, got some bigger females too. They don't have the floating dock out at the ramp at Francis Slocum.

There is a gas station on 13 in Somerset right before the 13 bridge that has minnows. I've you go on over the bridge turn left and you can just launch at Pearson mill ramp. Its a nice ramp
