Dead Stream Flooding above Reedsburg Dam?

Anyone ever fish above the dam at Reedsburg for crappie? Thinking about trying that out one of these days.

There are some crappies in there. Not great numbers but a few good ones. I have fished in Reedsburg most of my life, mainly just to get away from the power boat crowds. Houghton Lake is definitely far better for crappies. Or Lake Mitchell and Lake Cadillac in Cadillac.

Thanks for the info. Was always curious. Seen some carppie remnants before that some anglers threw back in the lake when that was still legal, but never knew just how good or bad it was.
