LED lights

I installed led light strips on my boat used super glue to make sure they held now they are peeling off any suggestions on a glue i can use that will hold them in place.

Alpena LED's come with 3M double sided tape - gray with red backing. You can also get it by itself at an auto parts store.

Just make sure you clean both surfaces with rubbing alcohol realy well and let dry before you stick it down.

Also Marine Goop is a realy good water proof glue that you can use. You can get it at a parts store too.

I installed my LED lights with gorilla glue. It is water activated and holds in the water after dried. Just use a sponge and wet the area you will glue to and place glue on the back of the LED light strip and apply to wet surface. When the water and glue mix they activate and turn a light brownish color when dry and holds strong. You can still pull them off if you want but you have to apply force. Use glue sparingly to not make mess. Works great!

KB, are the LEDs water proof and is there a particular brand to look for?

Alpena LED's are waterproof and come with the 3M tape on the back. So it's just peel and stick.

I have had them on my kayak for years. I got mine at Advance Auto Parts.

Those LED's are awesome! I need to upgrade from duck tape and flash lights to LED's like yours on my row boat!

Planning to build some boats in the fall and plans to install leds on the bottom in recesses covered by plexi glass.

Are the lights submersible to make fising lights?
