Crappie Camp was a blast!!!

I had a blast last night! Thank you so much for the great time. The food was incredible and the two dishes (besides the fish and puppies) that stood out for me was the crockpot bean dish and that sausage with cheese in it. Clfarms1 and Bowhunter012463, you guys did a fantastic job and are to be commended! Wow, what a great bunch of raffle prizes. I really enjoyed the music as well. It was so nice to meet Slab and the rest of you! Thank you so much for the shirt Slab! I can't wait until next year!

I also want to thank the sponsors for the raffle prizes I won. Donnie at Crappie Logic for the Gnats, as well as Meatgetter for the Minner Critters. There's going to be a head-to-head competition in the next couple weeks LOL! BNM for the Double Touch trolling rod and how can any of us really thank Wally Marshall (Mr. Crappie) for what he donated? There were 36 prizes raffled that Wally donated, plus every family received a spool of Hi-Vis line!!!!! I won a Solo. I now have four of them and absolutely love those things.

Also thanks to Billbob for the custom autographed huggie and of course the many sponsors for donations of their products and services. I was lucky enough to win one of the Wally Marshall rods! Can't wait to get out and pull a Slab over the side with it=) Thank you so much too Wally and all the sponsors for your donations! They made an already fun day a blast!

Thanks guys, we enjoy doing for you all. Its alot of work but well worth it. I would like to send some more special thank to these ladies who will probably will not see this but if you know them thanks them please, Shawntay Schmitz, Carla Schmitz, Sharon Merriman and Dee Schmitz for setting up the prize tables, They was not asked to do this but we couldn't of done this without them. And Carla again for taking all the pictures which will be posted in the next few days. Supergooser (who came all the way from Arkasas) and Bowbender for bringing their deep fryers and cooking everything for us and all they other guys who helped them. The other committee members, Wayne aka Fishk3, and Kevin aka Fish21759. Pat aka hookitbait for going around and selling the raffle tickets. Anyone who helped to clean up. All the people who brought side dishes, I didn't get a chance to get any of the bake beans or sausage cheese cause they was all gone but everything I did get a chace to eat was great, even the homemade onion rings, WOW. All of our supporters for donating the prizes and everyone who attended and bought raffle tickets. My partner in crime Steve aka clfarms1 for being the MC. I can't thank everyone enough. I would also like to send a very big Thank You to Marv aka cropy42 and Angie for cooking our meal for everyone Friday night. If I have forgot anyone I'm sorry. We already started planning for next year and if anyone want to be on the committee for next year let Steve or me know. O and Ed aka Slab for my hat and shirt too, I did not realize it last night but the shirt was made just for 2014 crappie camp at Shelbyville.

We have been dreaming of going to Kentucky lake for 3 years! We actually got that guide trip with wiskers! Truely amazing and appreciated from the both of us! I hope everyone had a safe trip home. Thanks to all!!!!!! See everyone next year or before!
