Ardent makes a package that covers the bases, looks good to me. Use products designed for reels as the thickness of some of the others gets real stiff when cold and then you're back removing the wrong stuff and adding the right. Not rocket science but use the right stuff and remember a little goes a long way and excess gathers dirt and makes a mess. A bread pan with solvent or a spray can of brake cleaner works good to remove the old.
I've used everything from 3in1 oil, to Shimano, to Quantum Hot Sauce ... and I didn't see much difference in the performance.
The biggest factor is using oil where oil goes, and using grease where grease goes, and not just using one or the other for all the places you lube your reels. And a light coating is better than a heavy coating !!

Like Skeet said that Rdent kit is really nice. Has everything you need. Like he and Pappy said, right product in right places and use sparingly.
