Which is the best boat ramp to use and our depth finder is broke any suggestions on where to fish for crappie
That just depends on where you are wanting to fish. River end use pearsons, though there is a lot of drift wood at the bottom. Up around the dam, I use frances slocum or miami. Frances slocum does have some cracked concrete at the bottom of the ramp that should be about where you trailer wheels would end up. Is dead center of the ramp.
As for fishing for crappie it kinda depends on which end of the lake you want to fish. River/somerset side probably holds more fish right now than anywhere, but you can catch them on most of the lake.
Thanks for the reply I'm glad to see another cubs fan maybe one day in my lifetime they will win the world series lol wishful thinking lol
red bridge its about in the center of lake stay towards the half on store side of ramp other side has chunk cement shouldnt be a problem unless you load and unload deep

Fish about any cove is holding crappies. Seen c/o dishing out tickets to some people who were limiting out going to truck and dumping them, then going back to do it all over again. Glad to see them get caught. I,d bet someone turned them in and rightfully so. Goes on a lot up there.
