Spent all afternoon and evening at the Wolf. No crappie. Not one. I was really surprised. Thought they would be going by now. Talked to the guys at the station on the way out and they said only a very few were caught. Trip wasn't a total bust. Smallmouth really saved the day !
We were there yesterday as well. We didn't catch anything but the 4 yr old had a blast. Marked lots of baitfish but couldn't catch anything. Watched some guys leave the ramp with the trolling motor down. Figured the spray in the face and shaft bent into a U would be a dead giveaway but it wasn't until there motor died they figured it out.
Stupid is as stupid does, I think we all have started out with it down but figure it out real quick.
