Night out with the boys (and lady)

Took a couple of first time nite stalkers out Fri p.m. for a little fishin fun. Had ASA and ELI aboard. The dad Andy was along for the fun. Met up with SS.Minnow 27 and his bride at Ebenezer Ramp. Pulled into the spot in about 27 fow. Temp 68 at sunset. Water slight stain with tons of pollen on top.Tightline minnows from bottom up to 8 - 10 foot. Was a bit slow to start but the perch decided to make a showing. The kids had a ball reeling up one after the other. Finally a crappie came to the lights. Another and another and so on. The boys were troopers till bout 10:30 or so. Then they hit the sack on us. We stayed on till close to midnight before calling it a night. We had 12 or 13 crappie on my boat and Kurt and Sam had a few more. About 35 or more of those perch (which are now catfish bait for my buddy). It was a fun night and I think the boys liked it .Samantha was the big fish catcher on the Minnow.And the most also. Hope we can do it again soon. Sorry bout the fuzzy pictures. Aint sure what happened . Oh well I tried.

Looks like a fun time

That does look like a good time for the kids and some good fish caught. Good to hear y'all found some biting fish to keep the kids busy. I'm like the kids, about that time my eyes goes to closing also :) Thanks for the report.

Look like a great night

Looks like alot of fun for everybody with alot of fish caught. Congrats to Samantha on biggest fish. The boys looked like they were having a great time. Thanks for carrying them fishing and for sharing it with all of us.:)

LOL Me too Ronnie. I been hesitant to go on a nite stalk for fear of falling asleep, then falling overboard.

Love the fuzzy pics. I always get those in low light conditions. It just adds to the overall experience. Glad y'all caught some. Those boys sacked out brought back great memories and put a smile on my face. Good job!
