LOZ Niangua Arm Report4-26
Got on the water around 2pm on Sat the 26th. We found out quickly that they were not on the banks as we only picked a few here and there. Changed strategies and found'em on the bluffs and main lake points that the wind was blowing into. The wind was sustained 20mph and the big boats were out in force so it made for a bumpy ride but we caught our fish. They were holding over deep brush suspended 5-7ft down in 20-35ft of water. If you found the shad or deep brush you were good. Water temp was 62-63. Also caught a blackstripe and a very small Walleye. The fish we caught close to the bank were males and their tails were tore up. Females eggs were very bloody and mushy.
