Everywhere I go the water temps are in the high 60's even 70. But have yet to really get in a bunch of crappie where I could say they were spawning. What's your opinion? Is it over or yet to come around your world?

Still catching fat females
Caught some fat girls on Dardanelle today.
Has NOT happened yet! !!!!!!
Caught fat females full of eggs at wappa last weekend.
Isn't it different for different bodies of water? Easter weekend the Crappie were biting well in the south part of Beaver. I thought it would go some days more but it got real slow these last days. Maybe I'm just at the wrong places or the wrong times? I think I read in the local fishing report they were heading to the north part of the lake. It's good to be able to see whats happening (or not happening) on a daily basis instead of reading what happened the previous week. Anyway I hope to hear more from Beaver fishermen (especially from the south end) in the next week or two.
Some have and some not yet moved up depending on lake. Many females on Dardanelle this weekend were still full of solid eggs and some males turned dark after staying in the live wells. I caught spawned out females on Nimrod several days ago. Water temps most places running in high 60's so it should be on where it is not already over. But remember not all the fish spawn at once , more so on larger lakes.:twocents
Crappie season is just about over. Don't even be thinking about it Doug.:biggrin
