On the water at 8:15 AM off water at 2:30 PM. water Temp. 61*/ 67*. with nothing but the sun overhead. Water color was HR dingy and calm. BP 30.4 /30.5 and a lite wind. Minnows and Kline Popsicle worked best for me at 5 to 8 ft. Had 4 keepers when I left. Point of interest, The overflow parking lot at 2nd. creek ramp was almost full at 2:30 PM when I left.
Thanks boots. Might try to fish some Saturday. Its get that time of year.... you can't stand to fish on the weekend with all the crowds and jet skis.

My dad said he did well in a shallow cove in 1 to 4 ft on 4/24. All along the banks in the roots etc. He said many fish centimeter from being 8 inches and caught over 100 to get 20 keepers but had fun.
