Afternoon Dutch.
Rag Fly did real well shooting docks at Blackshear , He has a real nice article on the home page, but i think for the most part everyone that fishes the spawn is licking their wounds and waiting for fall. Please keep us up dated on how you do. I'm thinking about doing something this weekend, Just not sure what or when or with who? but good luck and send us some pictures!!!

Cuz and I are going to Oconee tomorrow and we are gonna wear them out. I have not been since March 27th. This will be my first trip since my Dad passed away so Cuz and I are going to dedicate this trip to him.
Finally got my first boat a couple of months ago. My buddy welded up some rod mounts for the back. Went Easter, wind blew be into such a knot I went home. Did find out I can manage to troll 8 poles by myself. Me a another buddy went Monday caught 5 and a barely legal bass. Goin back tomorrow. I've been reading on here for awhile. This is an incredible community, good folks and more knowledge than I can fit.
Tablesaw, where do you fish?
Yes, please post on how your day goes. I'm heading there Saturday and giving it a try. I finally got to go the first time this year two Saturdays ago. Water was pretty dirty but did manage to catch seven. Good luck.
Dang Earl. I'm sorry to hear about your dad and I'm sure you and ol Cuz will put a hurting on them for his honor. Send us some pictures.
And I'm truly sorry for your loss.
Hey the crappie are biting great on Lake Blackshear. Took a friend this morning and was able to catch 36 by 10am dock shooting. We cought all of them in Swift creek west of Smoak Bridge. Alot of thro backs but was able to keep 36. They were hitting char/pearl white/char, char/pink/char and black/watermelon green w/specks/char. Very lite bite so you have to watch your line carefully for the bite. Surface temp average around 70 this am. Also the crackers have already started to bed.
