Just want to ask. Is it to early to go on a night fishing trip for crappie? What do u guys think I heard the hotter the better. Have a friend that wants to go sat. night just wanted to see what the board though.

I don't think it's ever too early :) As long as you can get the shad in, I've found that crappies aren't usually far behind. I was night stalking in late November last year with good results. Biggest problem at that time of year is keeping your fingers and toes warm.
I'd pick a spot close to where the crappie are hanging out during the day, though. Since they are staging up for spawning, they might not travel out as far.
I have a couple of spots where the fish spawn. I was thinking of setting up close to one of those spots and try to catch them coming in to that spawning area and as they come out. I will fish the area late that day before I get setup just to see what's going on. Thanks for the advise

Anytime is good for night fishin. Try to find the bait close to a drop or channel. Go get em.
Look for the deeper waters close to where the fish spawn the banks. I recommend 20+ feet of water if you can find it, but anything close to that will do. Check the creek channels.:)
