Well the crappie bite has slowed for me, so I decided try the perch this morning. The bite was not as fast as I have seen perch bite but not bad. Kept the first 25 just didn't want to clean any more than that this morning. Used live medium minnows in about 35 ft. of water. Size was pretty good. Should get much better in a few weeks but I think I will try again in the morning. Any kind of fishing is better than honey do's. The picture is the belly up live well shot.

Nice catch. The hill seems to produce nice fish of all species. Congrats.:)
Looks like some catch and release there ! Release into some hot oil that is . Way to go .
On the Hill I find May , June and even July to be very good. I fish for them on the main lake during those months. When it gets hot they really get stacked up off some of the main lake points. When you find them you can catch a boat load.Quote:
