Pomme de Terre crappie fishing is starting to heat up. Went out Thursday afternoon and again this evening with my son and we both limited out both evenings. Fishing from the bank with minnows and bobber (1-2 ft. deep) and catching fish anywhere from 5 - 20 yds. from the bank. Action seems to pick up as the sun gets below the horizon until dark. Egg sacks still look immature in most of the sows we caught. Love this time of year! Good luck and happy fishing!
