I've had some problems with my 80s model Black Max 150 running rough. I have had a bottle of Sea Foam in the shop barely used for about 5 years now. Curious if I should use it or buy a new bottle. I used maybe a quarter of the bottle on a 4 wheeler.

I don't know about shelf life on it, but if it's been open that long I'd toss it and get a new can just to be on the safe side. JMO
I would use it, as long as it was sealed up good, use it.
I would use it if it was sealed up good.
I would use that one in a small amount of fuel left in the tank and buy a new can to be added the next time you refuel. It's just my thought that if the fuel system has a small problem that the foam will get it fixed as it did mine. Giving it a steady diet of it for a while, starting and stopping letting it soak and run, will get all issues corrected. Once mine got squared away I run a can thru 2 or three times a year just to keep the gremlins away. My motor sat over 4 yrs and I changed filters and fought demons for a few months. It was worth it as now it runs like an old Chevy, starts quick and runs good.
Thanks for the advice.
