Question bout firewood for spring camp

Can you bring in your own wood to the campground if you don't live local?
Some campgrounds down here won't let you

Also is the store at Rt U and 803 still open and do they still sell wood?

Smitty bring it if ya want. We always do. Shane's bringing a truck bed full so we should have plenty. There is also a couple places close if ya want to buy it

Please don't forget to check with your county agent regarding fire wood. I'm guessing the campground wouldn't stop you from bringing wood, but some Mo counties are restricted from taking fire wood OUT of their counties because of an invasive insect called the Ash borer. If your county is restricted, it's possible to spread the borer around the state with firewood.

I guess, since I'm on a soapbox, I should remind anyone who's "home" lake has Zebra Mussels to make sure they completely dry their boat before putting in at Truman.
