Around Enid would be centrally located, a State Park cabin at Cossar puts you rite in the middle. The cabins out on 55 at Oakland has had some booking problems, like double booked and folks get here and have no where to stay, has happened several times this spring.

i would not want to park my boat at the cabins there just off 55. could be totally wrong but would worry about it there.
You guys got some name around Enid try to get something for cranking season?
Cossar State Park go to the MDWFP.com website and you should find it.
Cabins are off to their self, boat and equipment should be fine there.
+2 on Cossar state park, I've stayed there many times.
For what you are wanting to do you could buy a decent camper and store it down here and use the campsite at Persimmon Hill, its very nice.
