Husband did better Sunday.

He took the canoe and went to the Bourbeuse. Which is only a drive down the hill. He said he was going old school. Took light outfit with small hooks. Took some worms in a cooler. Had sinkers, hooks and pocket knife in his pocket. He went like he use to when he was a kid. Came back with 4 red horse and 1 channel cat. Best fishing all weekend. Rivers as still up some and off color but it is the time for the suckers and redhorse to spawn. Gonna bra good supper Tuesday night.

Hard to beat thinly scored redhorse fillets. I rank them up there with crappie.
