He bagged his bird
After having two gobblers come in yesterday morning about 8:30 and having to take a chance with a long shot. Wyatt knocked one down only to see it get up and run off to never be found. Having no luck the rest of the day we went out to a friends property off Z highway this morning. In the lightening and thunder and rain the birds were talking. Got to watch two birds fight and a little after 10:00am this one with 10 1/2 inch beard came in close enough for Wyatt to take. End of story.
