The crappie have started moving to the bank the past few days in the upper end of the lake. Water temps in the upper 50's and water clarity and level is good. The wind has been a bit of a challenge and the crowds are increasing every day. I took my older sons this morning and were back home by 10:00 with our limits. The last 8 or 10 fish were tougher to come by with all the wind and we were getting picky.

We didn't have room to hang all the fish, so the bucket has the 10" to 11" fish. I guess I need a bigger bowl.

Thanks! Had planned to get another quick mess before church this morning, but it was storming at 6:30 and we've had two more waves of rain since then. Maybe the weather won't hurt us too bad the next few days.
