Lifelong memories made today on the Hill
It has been along time since I have done any posting. Just to lazy I guess. But this day was a very special day on the water for me. My 9 year old grandson is on spring break this week and wanted to stay with me and fish the whole week. We fished most of the week catching a lot of fish but today was really good. We caught a two man limit by 9 am threw back until 10:30 before calling it a day. The fish on the right weighted 3.4 and the one left 2.75. My grandson caught both of these. Something I'm sure he will never forget and for me living with an aorta aneurysm it was a very special day for me as well. We were pulling poles using black and chart. southern pro curly tails. Fish were caught in 12 to 15 feet of water.
I have lived on the Hill now for about seven years and this is the best crappie season I have had for numbers an size. I have caught a lot of really big fish this season and the overall size is bigger than in years past.
Thanks for looking and maybe I will get better with my postings.
