Norman minnows

I'm heading to Norman Friday eveing and want to pick up some minnows. Last week I got to Lake Effects Marine (150 bridge) around 8pm and they were closed. Anyone know of a place that stays open fairly late and gives a decent count?

I have no idea , unless you get them at the store on highway 16 , at Killian Farms road. There is also the store further up in Denver , at the turn for Beatties Ford. I think they remain open until 10 , but I'm not entirely certain. Barring those 2 , there is another on 273 below MIL , that seems to have a monopoly in that immediate area , with crappie minnows priced at $2.99 a dozen , and $7.99 for bass minnows. If those don't suffice , my advice to you is to get them Thursday afternoon , and obtain a bubbler.

Get your minnows earlier in the day add a frozen water bottle and an aerator. They will last a long time like that.

Perth bait and tackle on Perth road in Troutman, the old Bills Marina is now open as ( Long Islans Powersports)it has good bait, and Quality Mart ( old Lingles store) all have bait and stay open til 9.00

The Gander Mountain has minnows off of 150, they stay open pretty late

yeah not anymore... they got rid of that dept. during the remodel.

yeah new owners I think they still sell worms but no shad,blood worms. If I remember correctly Lake Effects(old midway tackle) extends their hours soon 828.478.2058
