They should be just starting to get close to the right level. Fishing might be a little slow because of this front that just rolled through but should be able to catch some.
Nader don't get too hi, I enjoy fishing a flood year just doesn't happen very often. The 4 foot rise we have had this week makes it a completely different lake, gonna hit it in a little while and see what we can see.
Sardis is good. Just got to find em. Should go back shallow with these warm days coming. Friday should be awesome. She is still rising 6" a day.
Butla over 230 is too high, river gage over 20 ft and tunica is too high, besides that I don't know. Those are the only times I have struggled with finding water shallow enough to wade.
Fish often move closer to the bank and explore the freshly flooded areas. BOLO snag city but fun to fish. A couple years ago, one of our local flood control lakes was raised a lot more than normal and we watched a big bass spawning in a hollowed out tree stump that for years was used as a seat by bank fishermen. They put some nice flat rocks in the hollow to keep the seat right and I guess the old bass agreed. A few weeks later water was down so the spawn was probably trashed but I've caught a lot of fish in flooded areas during spring and summer
PROBLEM IS AS YOU GET QUICK RISES OFTEN . THIS WILL LEAVE FISH SCATTERED AT DIFFERENT DEPTH SPAWNING . :dono
