Announcement came today in my dealer weekly Email. Glad for me and all my customers.
Thank goodness.
I have sent Directv an email 3 to 4 times a week since weather nation started.
Thanks Rusty for passing that info on to us.
I didn't even know they showed weather reports anymore... Really every time I turn to it it's a show and not current weather.
Why was it that Directv just dumped weather channel?
Contracts I suspect.
The Weather Channel tried to JACK UP the price they were charging Directv to carry their programiong and instead DTV dropped them till something could be worked out. After 25% of directv subscribers threatened to go to dish net they worked it out without a rate increase. Good for US.
