Boat home and working on it!
I got the boat home from winter storage Saturday. I have it torn apart and am replacing the steering cable. I have it ordered and should be here tomorrow morning. I didn't realize how involved it is to replace the cable. I had to remove the big motor to get the cable out of the motor housing, plus remove several decks.
Next week I will get a new fish finder for the front and move the front one to the console. The one on the console was starting to act up so figured I would upgrade the front one and have it linked to the new trolling motor. I am going to try to make it as easy on me to run as possible. I think the old cable steering trolling motor helped aggravate my knee that I had the surgery on last Nov. I only used the new one, once or twice before I put it away for the winter. I really liked it a lot for what I got to use it so far. EB
