That's some great shots there Mikey...especially that DI shot...:ThumbsUp
You might experiment with slowing the Chart Speed down just a little for the SI shots...
Sometimes this will help "crisp up" the bottom returns on the SI image...(at the disadvantage of making the fish returns smaller and more like dots...it's a "tradeoff" depending on which you want to see)...

Yeah, I'll give that a shot. I don't recall the speed setting off hand. I have the transducer on the PD V2 at the moment, deciding whether or not to mount it on the transom or keep in on the troller. My 570 DI is currently the unit I'm looking at when driving.
I really like the display on it. Much nicer than anything else I've got.
I look forwards to posting more screen captures that's for sure!
Default Chart Speed is 5...I think....with a boat speed of 1.8...try a chart speed of 2...
Deciding where to put your "best" unit would be determined by where you will get the most benefit from it...
I spend 99% of my day at the TM...that's where I want my dandiest sonar tool...

me too, seems I saw in the DVD that the SI works best a slightly faster speed. I can only go so fast with my 55lb troller. I actually was only running at 6 on the Ipilot so there's more in it. I'll try slowing the chart down. Need a good calm day too it was choppy on the river yesterday
