Well I couldn't get out of Monroe this weekend to our camp up on darbonne so I decided to go out to black bayou. Started fishing around 6:45 this morning and fished until lunch. Fought the wind from the gate. It was slow, ended up with only 8 fish. All fish were caught in 7.5-8 FOW and they came in doubles. With every fish I caught of of a tree I would catch another almost immediately and then it was done. One big female, the rest were males

That place brings back memories. When I was a wee lad my daddy would take me there. I caught a mess of goggle-eyes on a hula popper on one of our trips. Seems like only yesterday.
You did well from what I saw, nice fish. Rudd and I only had 6 together. A man who fishes it weekly only had a few and they were way smaller than yours. Jim
