Trolling motor prop?
What is your feeling about going to a 3 bladed prop on your trolling motor from a 2 bladed prop.
Do you gain more speed/thrust? Does a 3 bladed prop break easier.
What advantages do you gain over 2 blade prop?
What would you recommend for a 75 pound thrust Motor Guide if battery life was not an issue?
Thanks, Dan

I have never noticed a difference either way actually. :dono

I know several people including myself that has tried THESE and none of us could really tell any difference.

I have swapped them back and forth. Can't tell any difference between them for power, speed or battery life.

I called MG yesterday and they told me the 2 blade prop would give high top end speed and the 3 blade would respond to acceleration and turning better.
I have been using the Kipawa prop for 3 years on my 75 pound thrust wireless, but this year with the brand new lower unit covered under the MG extended warranty I noticed a vibration at high speed so my guess is the prop is the fault. I called Kipawa and they told me it was out of the 1 year warranty but they could check it to see which blade is off or bent.
I decided to go ahead and buy a new Kipawa prop so later this week it should be in for trial this weekend to see if the vibration goes away. It should not vibrate since the lower unit is new, and I can not believe the shaft is bent.
Also Kipawa says their prop should give me 15% more speed over the factory MG 2 blade prop, We'll see Saturday.

I bought a Kipawa about 4 boats ago because a lake I fish is nasty with Eurasian Water Milfoil. I didn't notice an appreciable difference. Maybe someone else will...
