Made the annual trip to the point..first half was fantastic...then the front blew through...had days of 60 plus fish, worst day was 12 fish..ended up catching over 275 fish..gave a few to Mr Vince at the best bait shop in delhi..had 70 fish over 2lbs..4 fish 2lbs 13 oz.wanted that 3 like cc and bluethunder ..maybe next time...left them biting today...the wind was stupid at times, but overall had a great time..fried up 5 and let the rest go..its been an awesome season first lake bouef here in the deep south went crazy, then amelia gave up some nice fish, then bayou black went crazy, and now the point topped off a great spring..

Sounds like a great time. I'm finally heading fishing tomorrow (haven't been in months). My youngest daughter and I are heading to the Point tomorrow evening. Hope this front doesn't slowdown the bite too bad. Again, congrats on the catches.

You've been quiet Bob but I see why, you've been busy fishing or should I say catching. Sorry you didn't get your 3 pounder but those you let go will be bigger next year. Good luck.
