shewwy! Them fishies are bitin!

Got out after class this afternoon to look around for clients this weekend and every spot my buddy and I pulled up to had fish there and they were hungry! Catch a couple and move to the next spot. We threw together a double limit for him to take to turkey camp next week in a little under 3 hours. This weekend should be a fun one I think! Water temps 42-45 and we fished 5-11fow fishing all different depths. Tight lining and corking both yielded equal numbers of fish. Red/Chartreuse and Orange/Black on Chartreuse 8th oz heads were what was workin for us!

Are these mostly females? Several fish I caught Monday in a small body of water were full of eggs which surprised me since still had ice recently. Water temp was 49. What is it at the ville? Any report on Lake Mattoon?

Actually start forming their egg sacks months before spawn which was something I didn't know until a couple years ago!
