Any particular reason you want to fish the lower lake when a world class crappie lake is on top of the hill and red hot right now? That's like going to Como Steakhouse and ordering pizza. The main lake is smoking right now. People every where. The crappie season flag has been flown and the spawners are out in full force.

Just curious. Like to fish there when the wind is high.

Understood. The marina is also a good place to fish when the wind gets up.
