We used to stay there ... tent camping & a couple of times in a camper trailer. That was decades ago, though. We always camped at the far end of the campground (sites #60's-70's), as the restroom/showers were a short walk.
Prices are still much the same as they were back then .... around the $15/night range. Ramp is close by & a good one. Closest restaurant is at the Emerald Isle Marina, which is a short boat ride across the lake & through the cut-thru gap at Goat Island. They also sell minnows.
I'll PM you a little something that may be of interest to you !!

Couple years ago it was $26 a night for RV.
thanks CrappiePappy, do they have a fish cleaning station there are the state park?
Not that I'm aware of, or remember. I'm pretty sure we cleaned our fish at our campsite. But, I don't know what they do or don't allow, nowadays ... it's been decades since I camped there. Actually, come to think of it ... the trees in the camping area were maybe 10-15ft tall saplings last I remember :Rofl (Google Earth shows them as full grown shade trees in their 2008 image)
I'd contact them & find out ... no sense getting kicked out of the campground when you're catching fish

There is a cleaning station down by the lake in the campground. It's a couple sinks with a hose with running water. There is electric there, too. Take your electric fillet knife.
