Missy is almost back to winter pool but still has around 13" of ice floating on top any guesses on when we'll see open water across the lake ? I say April 15. Hope the heavy rains stay away and we get a slow warm up this spring, makes for a good white bass run and crappie too. Can't wait :biggrin

The bite is on at missy or at least it was last week. Easy limits and almost non stop bite. Fishing the open water near shore on tube jigs. Saturday morning was the best bite i have seen in a long time. Going back tomorrow to see if its still on.

Wow, I guess it went fast from where it was about a week and half ago or I was told wrong, low of 11* tonight with 38* high tomorrow. May have to give it a try if it didn't crust over. Anyone fish the river sections yet ?
I hope that hot bite lasts for awhile. I'd like to get out there ASAP, but won't be until Monday at the earliest for me. I'd like to think there won't be any trace of ice by then.
