Unfortunately I had school, but my father went out yesterday morning (thurs) for a few hours fishing with minnows. He was fishing deeper water around hobson pike bridge over brush piles and managed 11 nice keepers. All keepers were nice quality. It was just a slow bite for him. Enough to keep him interested. He moved to a little more shallow water and had no luck. Hope y'all have some luck this weekend!
Fished the Hong Kong area as well as the youth camp and stewarts creek area with Mark Travis yesterday. Had 13 keepers bite was good early when they were pulling current but slowed when they stopped pulling. Caught them in the deep trees 40ft fishing about 14to17 ft. Caught some big black crappie!!!!
Caught ours in 40ft also. 18ft down. Nice big crappie
I am finding them in 2 foot of water in the back of stewards creek.
Hopefully they stay at 2' range end if April! :cheers2
