We fell in love with LBL last spring on our first shellcracker trip down there. If pound and a half redear don't excite you, you don't have a pulse. We've been looking for a while and found a place that's about 1/4 mile from Barkley Dam, over on route 1271.
I haven't really told many family or friends, kind of private in that regard but I'm excited. My wife and 5yr old are too!

Good for you. I love it down there. I tried to talk my wife into quitting our jobs and moving there last summer.

We're closing next Wednesday according to the lawyer. I'm fired up and ready to go fishing, the wife says she's looking forward to decorating the place. If that doesn't tell you the difference between a man and woman nothing will.lol. I could care less about the decor, me and the boy will be headed to Carmack or Demumbers Bay!!

I know how you feel. My wife and I have a place near Paris Landing and are planning to move there sometime in the next few months. We can hardly wait.
