contact creekslick on here, think he can help you..it's his home lake... good luck!
I haven't been up there since the rain but the lake came up a little over 2 feet. I'm gonna say the canyon is your better bet than middle fork only because I'm assuming middle fork is a muddy mess from the rain. Creekslick and Jackie can help you much more than me! :) good luck
Creeks Spin's 1/8 oz,Arkie jigs 3 in grubs and 2 in crappie tubes!! on flats out form spawning areas!! Set boat in 20' of water casting up in 10' when you make contact with cover log, rock ect slow down retrieve when you think you are slow enough slow down some more!! Devils fork, middle fork, south fork, peter creek, salt creek, the Game and fish shelters all work!! big lake just find you a spot a flat with a 10' drop and cover!! A little trick when you find the White bass the crappie are in the cover!!(brush pile, log, rock tree top)Attachment 155121Attachment 155122!! 33 Wednesday!! a little dingy but they(crappie) were their!! We use the Creek spin to find them(crappie) then use our jigpole to catch them(crappie) over the cover!!When you find the Whites the crappie are their feeding on the same school of shad!!!
Thanks guys ended up with 6 crappie and 2 nice whites. This is the best one. Water was very muddy in both middle fork and frontier canyon. Maybe next week:-)
