I went out to Longview to pick up my boat sticker, and the guy told me about the brush and rock piles they set out since the lake was 4-5 feet down due to work on the dam. Here are some pics of the piles. They are along the bank west of the dam. Should hold some good fish once the lake comes back up!
Yeah, those look like fish holders for sure. Are they done with the repairs so the lake will fill back up this spring?

Might have to take half a day on the south end and drop a few items in my favorite spots. Didn't realize it was that low. Some of the best fishing is high and dry right now.
and advice on how to approach fishing Longview this time of year out of a boat, I know they are catching small ones off the dock. Thanks for taking the time to reply.

Oh yeah im gonna be ready when it warms a little more. I have been over there a couple of times getting a good look. I might have to go back and mark em with my hand held unit for future reference.
