Lowrance is offering a 300 rebate if you purchase a gen 2 unit plus lss2. Does anyone know if I purchase one of these off of Amazon if the rebate will still be eligible? It say something on the lowrance page about needing the printed receipt.

The place you get it from should either email or send a receipt. I just got a hds8 bundle from BBG Marine and he sent one via email. You will need all the labels from all three boxes also. Rebate form is printed from LEI website.
You may find the unit is cheaper from BBG or another sponsor. They are limited as to what price they can advertise, but they sell cheaper.
If you have doubts, get the name of the actual seller and contact Lowrance to see if they are an authorized retailer.
I didn't think the Gen 2 needed an LSS2, just the transducer.
The Gen2 needs the LSS. It's Touch units that just need the transducer.Quote:

I don't think so. The form says: "• Include the Original UPC or EAN barcode from eacheligible product box checked", and the three products that have the check boxes are the bundles themselves, not the individual items.Quote:
