santee
I was had all plans to get down last weekend but health issues kept me at the house (told the wife it is time to go under the knife. it could keep me away from anything else but not my fishing so lets do it.) any how made it down this weekend. My old man is normally my fishing partner but he had other plans so i called a buddy of mine and we headed down friday morning. wanting to see several places on the lake we didnt stay in one spot long. first place we fished we caught 4 with the smallest being 2.25 and the largest being 2.5. nothing else the rest of the day. Saturday morning we started at daylight and first 2 fish in the boat were bass weighing in at 6.5 and 8.5. The FLW boys were fishing their big tourney and would have loved to have had them. after getting that mess straitened out we went back to catching what we were rigged for and man did we. we finished saturday with 10 fish. 3 of them under 2lbs at 1.10,1.30, and a 1.96. the other 7 fished weighed from 2lb even to 3lb even. the were not fast and furious by any means meaning we would pull jigs for over an hour between bites but when u saw the rod pull back you knew you had something. that 3 lber was my new personal best as the whole stringer was my new personal best. now i have 3 fish to take to the taxidermist:yikes. oh well what a great trip. wish the old man could have been there. one day i am gonna figure out how to transfer pics from my phone to the computer just not to good with that kind of thing

The easiest way I've found to send pictures to my PC from my phone is to email the picture to my PC. If you create a contact for yourself on your phone and type in your email instead of a phone number it will send it to your PC mailbox. Then it is easy to save to a folder on the PC. I put two "A"s in front of my contact name for the email so when I send the picture the first name to come up from my list is the one with AA so I don't have to scroll looking for the right name.
If you have a memory chip in your phone you can save the pictures to it and plug the chip in your PC and it will download the pics.
Hope this helps.

I would rather catch 10 like that than 30 10inchers! Congrats on a good day on the water. I think the crappie taste better from Santee than wateree or Wylee also! I bet your dad wishes he could have been there!

Way to go Brushpile, those are some mighty fine fish y'all caught. Tommy and I caught some good fish on Friday, but no 3's. There's some big fish swimming around at Santee right now. If you can run across them, some fun and big smiles can be had fer sure.

Good report. I email pics to myself then download on computer

I added my email address as a phone number contact (and saved it) and send the pictures there. Once on the 'puter I copy them to photobucket or just straight onto CDC.

And BTW, congrats to a GREAT trip. :)

Thanks a lot inkdabber. What makes it even better is I heard where that big stringer from last weeks tourney came from and never went in there. I studied a lake map all week and found my own hole. I would rather get skunked than fish another mans fish. I had called the number rooty tooty had on the sponsor board but couldn't get him. I wa wanting to load up on some of his jigs while I was down there. Do you know of another way to get my hands on some

Very nice catch! A stringer that size will put a big smile on your face for days :ThumbsUp
