My 797 is not showing any gps functions. says no antenna. So I bought another puck, still the same. Contacted Hummingbird and they want $299 to fix it. A newer unit with si can be purchased for that. What the heck gives.

Sounds like you have an internal component failure in the power circuitry for the accessories. That could mean a damaged PCB from a failed component. E-mail me directly as I have something you may or may not want to try.
