Just keep up with this board especially a couple of weeks before you come down. Depends where you plan to stay but not hard to fish a couple in same day. I'm sure some of us will be able to help you by then.
Can't see that far ahead. Wait until that time gets closer. You'll need to say what method you'll be using.
Will be fishing out of triton aluminum 16ft. using cast and retrieve road runners,or bobber, or 3/4 oz. sinker with 3-way swivel with jig at bottom and from other line of swivel will have float ,a 6 inch line and floating jig head with jig and large minnow on it. I want to set up spider rig ,but wife does not . I have side and down scan fore and aft on the boat. Wouldn't mind checking on a guide for first or second day. we will be there 1-6 of April. Thanks for replying, much appreciated.
Hard to give specifics that far out but fish should be shallow (2 to 10 ft). Spidder rigging will be your best bet but fish can be caught with the casting method. If you are going to cast, you will need to go up the rivers and find the standing timber. Good luck and let me know if you have questions.
