Anyone have much luck trolling jigs in muddy water? Which colors work best? Looks like most lakes in the state will be this way for awhile.
Dark!
Black or purple/Chartreuse & John Deere green. Larger bodies like sliders or bucktails help sometimes. Had a lot of luck pushing roadrunners in the mud, the flash or vibrations gets attention.
beetle spins are the ticket
Get close to the mud color as you can. I run some jigs that have are a rust color and dark green and they work great for the muddy water at the Rock.
Minnows
I've used June bug, and orange/chart on road runners with the most success in muddy water. Can't go wrong with minnows in muddy water either.

I've used a red and bright orange in the past. I'll be on Badin or Tillery later this week. Let things settle a bit. I'll let you know how it went. Thanks to all.
