Wish they'd outlaw Yo Yo's there.
And yahoo's. ;)
Don't see them doing away with the yoyo's. This topic was discussed some years ago on the mdwfp and the biologist stated how positive use was effective on the over abundance of catfish in the lake. Of course the crappie fisherman bucked the theory. What I don't like about it is there are so many in the trees it makes it 2x harder for the jig fisherman.
ya a half day late. See my post on the Off Topic LOL I sure wish they would get rid of YO YOs. I went back a couple or 3 weeks after our tourney last year and they were everywhere
Tourneys and spider rigs too. Went the other day and there must have been 90 of them. And limit everyone to one pole with a single lure. No live bait. Minnows can get off and be introduced to places they aren't needeed and might spread disease. No motors above 10 horsepower. Too dangerous with bigger motors. No beer allowed in boats like Canada. No fishing while outboard is runnin like duck hunting. Gives angler too much advantage. That is the only way that I enjoy it so other folks will have to adapt.
Better yet...outlaw everything except yo-yos and trot lines. Nothing like hearing that yo-yo go off or see that limb shaking. Can't get that with a pole in your hand. Point is that people who like yo-yos and trot lines have as much right to do it as we do our way. You start banning one style and before long your style will be whacked. If you don't like fishing that way then don't. But don't tell everyone else they can't because you don't do it.
