Coming to Weiss with family. Advice???

I am coming to Weiss with my dad and my uncle. We will be fishing tomorrow thru Sunday.

Any advice on where to fish to catch, but avoid the tournament. We usually come down once in the spring and once in the fall. Just wandering where the fish are after all of this strange weather. Usually fish around Bay Springs or Riverside area. How are these areas doing? Any advice would be helpful. Coming down from KY only a couple times a year makes it hard to locate them.

I believe that there is a Crappie USA tournament sat. I will fish the next three day if I can, may have a report by fri.
