I've had my Huckabee rods for a few years now. with that said, I've just put some bonehead braid on 2 of them and I really like it. If I end up breaking a tip due to rod wrap (which bonehead claims not to do, and hasn't yet) ill just bite the bullet and buy another one. I've gotten my money's worth from the already, they're great rods. Before the braid, I just used anything high vis in the 10-12 pound range. Just my 2 cents, enjoy the new rod and fill the freezer👍👍👍
BoneHead Tackle hi-vis mono, period in my opinion. I just bought two Huckabee rods at a tackle show. It was pointed out to me at that time about braid voiding the warranty.
My favorite mono is Viscious Panfish High Vis.
I am going to say Bonehead Mono. I have tried a lot and Bonehead is the best. Next to Bonehead, I would say Viscous.
I have 6 Huckabee Rods and have used several different mono's. Until recently I have used Vicious Hi Vis in 10lb. Also used it on my spider rigging rods as well. Now I use BoneHead Hi Vis. Good Luck ic choosing the line that's right for you.

Crappie maxx in hi vis yellow is my favorite
I used to only use the Vicious, but have now switched to Boneheads mono, it is a superior product for me. Personally I fish braid on my dipping sticks, if I break it I'll just buy another.
I have both the Bonehead no memory Mono and the Braid here if you would like to come and check them out. I will say this. The bonehead braid is about as sensitive as you can get.

Excuse my ignorance but is dipping the same as doodle sockin? Where you find visible structure and drop your rig all around it to whatever depth?
