At least you didn't come back empty handed like the Tigers did. lol Thanks for the report.
Sounds like your tease sucks like the fishing did..... :Rofl
congrats on your catch a few fillets are better then no fillets :biggrin
Ive fished off the bank but never put a boat in there. Where do you put in at and how are the ramps there?
Coming from Anderson on 178 towards belton take right on Broadway lake rd ramps down on left can't miss it.It has two good ramps. It gets shallow quick in back of the creeks no markers
Not a bad lake to fish in the winter and spring before it warms up then it is hard to fish because of all the boats running around. There are some crappie to be caught in the lake but they don't come as easy as you would think being a small lake. The bass fishing can be as bad but there use to be some hoggs in there.
i heard that you have to have a permit or membership to use that lake since they had to rebuild the dam. anyone know about that for sure ?
That is no longer needed. There is a daily fee of $2 to use the lake and the pay box is between the two ramps. A crappie limit of 15 has been placed on the lake along with the states 8" size limit.
