fished sat. -3/1 and sunday -3/2. 50 on saturday (two of us) by 1pm and 20, and one 3 1/2 bass, fishing alone, by 11am sat. water temp. 59-60 degrees. very few shallow yet. bigger fish still 11-15 feet deep. weather has been up and down, no extended warming yet.Quote:

The bite was GREAT......we fished channel from williams to past bell's lake and YES they are/were in the channel. Heard of several over 2 lbs (we had 4) last week. Fished in 4 foot of water last Saturday but moved to the channel last monday and stayed there all week. The best color was bubblegum and anything else with a chartruse tail.
What Hooker said.... We had a great day Friday fishing from around 10:00-3:30 and had another good day Saturday from 8:30-12:30. Electric Chicken, Black Blue Chartreuse and Popsicle worked good for us. The weather was great all weekend!!!
